Without a doubt, the national results of Tuesday's election were extremely disappointing for Republicans. However, the results here in Arkansas give us a reason to feel positive about all our work. Republicans won all the Congressional seats, and for the first time since Reconstruction, we will have a majority in the state Senate. I look forward to the great reforms our party will bring to Arkansas.

Now that the election is over, we need to pull on our boots and get back to work. Our country is still facing enormous problems, starting with the immediate crisis of the fiscal cliff. Regardless of how we feel about the outcome of the national elections, politicians must come together and find a way to work together to solve our problems. The stakes are simply too high.

I have great faith in Americans and in our nation. I promise that I will do all that I can to reach across the partisan divide to find solutions to this and the rest of the most crucial problems facing our country today. With your continued prayers and support, we will get the job done. Your efforts are making a difference. I urge you all to keep up the good work.
