National Rifle Association Endorses
U.S. Senator John Boozman in Republican Primary

Little Rock -- Boozman for Arkansas announced today that the National Rifle Association (NRA) has endorsed U.S. Senator John Boozman in the upcoming March 1st Republican primary.  The NRA represents more than five million members nationwide and is America’s foremost defender of Second Amendment rights.  In their endorsement of Boozman, they also recognized his “A” rating, which is reserved for legislators who have a solidly pro-gun voting record.

In response to the endorsement, Senator Boozman, said, “I am honored to receive the support of the NRA and its members across the great state of Arkansas.  I am proud of my record in defending our Second Amendment rights and will continue to do all I can to make certain that hard-working, law-abiding Americans do not have their Constitutional right to own a gun infringed upon. Only a government that does not trust its citizens would refuse them the right to bear arms.”

“On behalf of our five million members across the country, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to endorse John Boozman for United States Senate in Arkansas. His consistent and proven voting record in support of the Second Amendment has earned him an ‘A’ rating from the NRA.  John Boozman has stood strong against President Obama and New York City billionaire Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun control agenda. Arkansans can trust John Boozman to stand up and fight for our constitutional rights, and I urge all NRA members, gun owners and sportsmen in Arkansas to vote John Boozman for U.S. Senate in the March 1 st primary,” said Chris W. Cox, Chairman of the NRA-PVF.
