ROGERS, AR – U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) announced he has been endorsed by one of the most influential organizations in the pro-life movement, the Susan B. Anthony (SBA) List.
Boozman has earned an A+ rating from the SBA List based on his pro-life voting record.
“We are so proud to endorse John Boozman, a champion for life, serving on the Appropriations Committee of the United States Senate. As soon as the Pelosi House started trying to do away with the Hyde Amendment, he said ‘no, it won’t happen.’ That was the brick wall that we needed to stand against the extreme abortion agenda, taxpayer funding of abortions, that the House was passing,” Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs, said in announcing the organization’s endorsement of Boozman.
As Senator, John Boozman has led the charge in legislation to defund Planned Parenthood nine times. He has also voted to ensure no federal funds could be used for abortions or to subsidize health plans that include abortion coverage, and to criminalize infanticide and clarify the standard of care that must be given to babies born alive after failed abortions. Additionally, he voted to confirm three Supreme Court Justices under President Donald Trump who recognized the constitutional problems with Roe v. Wade and the tragic status quo it created.
This endorsement comes in addition to support Senator Boozman has received from Arkansas Right to Life and National Right to Life.
Boozman, running for re-election to the United States Senate, said he was “proud” to be endorsed by SBA List, saying he relies on the organization’s advocacy to advance a pro-life agenda.
“I’m proud to receive support in my reelection campaign from the Susan B. Anthony List, which plays a critical role in our efforts to protect the lives of the unborn. In the Senate, I rely on groups like the SBA List to advocate for pro-life legislation and ensure federal policy is not undermining the right to life, and I take their guidance very seriously,” Boozman said.
