Hot Springs Village resident retired Army Maj. Gen. Tom Arwood was recently inducted into the Arkansas Military Veterans Hall of Fame (AMVHOF) at its sixth annual banquet in Little Rock.

Celebrating with Arwood were more than three dozen HSV residents, all there to pay their respects. Arwood spent 34 years in the Army, becoming a general in 1984, then a two-star in 1989.

Closing remarks by Boozman said it all: “The stories of these veterans speak for themselves. It’s an honor to be here. Thanks to all of you who contributed to a wonderful night.”
